Airports
“Falcone e Borsellino” airport is located approximately 25 kilometers away from downtown Palermo. Many national and international airlines, including “low cost” companies, fly to Palermo and to the second closest airport (“Birgi”) located near Trapani, 70 km away from Palermo.

Train
Several trains connect “Falcone e Borsellino” airport with downtown Palermo. The first train leaves the airport at 05:20 in the morning, the last one at 00:25 the next day. The price of the ticket is 6.50 euros, and there are reductions for children, families and small groups. The closest train station to the Congress venue is “Palazzo Reale-Orleans”. Bus
How to reach downtown Palermo from Palermo International Airport “Falcone e Borsellino”
The “Prestia e Comandé” bus service runs every 30 minutes:
- leaving the airport Arrivals terminal from 5:05 to 01:05 the next day.
- leaving Palermo Centrale train station to the Airport Departures terminal from 4.00 to 21.30

Taxi and Taxi sharing
The taxi service at "Falcone e Borsellino" Airport runs from 06.00 to 24.00 and is located just outside the Arrivals Area. The fare from Palermo Centrale train station to the Airport is about 45 euros.

From Palermo: take the A29 highway in the direction of Trapani and exit at "Puntaraisi - Aeroporto Falcone e Borsellino"
From the Airport: take the A29 highway and follow directions to Palermo; exit at Via E. Basile for the Symposium venue.
